Pilates chairs (also called the “wunda chair” or “low chair”) have always been an integral part of the Pilates exercise and fitness lifestyle. As of late though, Pilates chairs have gotten a more streamlined and technologically advanced look as the product moves more into the mainstream market. What a Pilates chair is, basically, is a resistance exercise chair. They’re usually a box with one side that can be pressed down against springs to create resistance. Most Pilates chairs have two different pedals that can be worked independently from one another.
